The project INVENTAIRE aims to create artistic sets and open spaces which enable us to discuss current European contexts of migration with people directly involved or interested.
Posing questions like « How do we approach each other to get closer? What kind of initiative or arrangements must we make in the transition towards another cluture? How does one laugh and cry together? How can one open up and give one's heart? » the project interweaves every single small story into the big narrative, crossing borders while focussing on one of the main questions of our society: how will we live together tomorrow?

Gentle Brutality

Concept, choreography & sound design by Dan Su

December 2021 HfS Theatre Ernt Busch, Berlin DE

Gentle Brutality is both a concert and a dance performance, which calls for a (r)evolution of oppressed bodies. Structural oppressions are embedded in unquestioned norms, symbols, and systems. How can oppressed bodies be a resource for resistance and empowerment? Based on Dan Su’s ‘Lazy Body’ practice, Gentle Brutality seeks an aesthetic and methodology to reclaim the autonomy of the marginalized body, in its relation to the environment.

The original music score consists of synthesizers, vocals, drones, noise, and broken beats. It is inspired by the constant fluctuation of longing, clamness, and departure in the state of oppression, which is also visualized through the choreography.

Afterthoughts / Bilder Einer Austellung

Concept & Production by Peter Baer & Clara Taborda (Wedding Film)
August-October 2021 Mitte, Berlin DE

who are those people in the picture?
I do not know them, they are anonymous people
- oh, in this case you should not be carrying them, they are not important-

In 3 days 4 dancers in 3 places
in the middle of Berlin is Afterthoughts – choreographed, danced, performed, mumbled – thoughts
after what went on for many weeks at/through/during
PICTURES AT AN EXHIBITION, a wandering exhibition in the middle of Berlin in summer, fall, winter and beyond ….

The heavy picture-panels are no more,
the performers carry solely what remains from the carrying, and the remembrance of that.

Primitiva / Urban Woods

Choreographed by Manfredi Perego
October 2019, Scenario Pubblico, Catania IT

From urban spaces to the stage: two intense journeys made by CZD2 Young Company Zappalà Danza with choreographer Manfredi Perego.

‘Primitiva’ & 'Urban Woods’ engage in choreographic languages and structures, whose starting point is the reflection on the connection between human beings and the nature of trees; sacred figures living through different times, with illogical, dynamic, and fascinating forms.

Untitled

Choreographed by Moritz Ostruschnjak & Daniela Bendini
May 2019 Scenario Pubblico, Catania IT (Premiere)
Italian Tour: September 2019 Milano Oltre Festival, Milan. September 2019 Hangart Fest, Pesaro.

The choreographer as a copyist. Moritz Ostruschnjak & Daniela Bendini have imposed a rule on themselves for Untitled: no element of the performance may be original. Every moment, every sound, every image is an objet trouvé from the web/internet. From contemporary choreography to The Harlem Shake, from Dubstep to shampoo advertising, everything is mixed, reorganized, and recombined. A dance mashup, a bastard pop out of 1000 thefts that poses the question of artistic authorship in the modern age.

Être

Choreographed by Maud de la Purification
May 2019 Scenario Pubblico Catania IT (Premiere)
Italian Tour: September 2019 Milano Oltre Festival, Milan.

Être: "A calm observer contemplates the infinate space creating the first vibration from which a harmonic microcosm is generated. In a journey through time, the harmony of that world is replaced by the noise of toughts, by forces without order - conflicting and manipulative. Through presence, we will find balance.”

Kairos

Choreographed by Amos Ben-Tal
February 2019 Scenario Pubblico, Catania IT (Premiere)
Italian Tour: September 2019 Hangart Fest, Pesaro.

With kairos, choreograhper and musician Amos Ben-Tal continues his exploration of the dualities that arise from time-keeping. People all over the world count time in the same way, but to each of us time feels very different. Keeping time is therefore both objective and subjective, both universal as well as personal. Kairos forms a part of the ongoing project titled ‘60’ that Amos is working on together with his own company OFFprojects, as well as with other companies.

THE SURFACE

Choreographed by Simon Vincenzi
July 2018 The Place Theatre, London UK

The Surface Site 1: The Hotel. Site 2: The Empty Theatre.

They keep searching over six nights. Replacing themselves with each other. In a labyrinth constructed within a mirrored chamber. In some other story happening some other time or place. An impossible symmetry. A lugubrious matter. Dark now...are you coming?

2 One Another

Choreographed by Rafael Bonachela, re-staged by Wayne Parsons
March 2018 The Place Theatre, London UK

Crackling with exultant power and intricate physical conversation, a pulsing pixelated backdrop, baroque-meets-electronica soundtrack and fragments of poetry, 2 One Another is a bright hour of irrefutable sensuality, which delivers a visceral charge.
